Broker Software Advice:

Choosing The Right Broker
Choosing the right broker is an important part in your trading. Each broker can differ in margin requirement from $500 to $8,000 and each broker can range from $1.25 per trade to $5 per trade. Each broker has it's own software it uses, some brokers will charge for their software while other brokers offer their software for free, and free doesn't mean low quality because we also use a free software. We at Code Trading System recommend against using a "forex broker" for trading Oil, forex brokers have a built in "spread" between the bid/ask and that isn't what you want, a Futures broker doesn't have a spread like that and this makes a big difference in your trading success. Here is a small list of brokers and their benefits:

Global Futures: Software (Global Zen Trader)

Global Futures is an excellent broker to use and they have quality customer service. Software is free. They are out of California and are wonderful to work with, ask for Rick Kontra and he'll treat you right.

Apex Futures: Software (Apex Trader)

Apex Futures uses the same software as Global Futures, and they offer it for free as well, and they have a lower margin requirement than Global Futures offers, they are a discount broker but highly recommended.

Interactive Brokers:

Interactive Brokers is probably the most professional broker in the world, with trades costing only $1.25 per trade they are the cheapest in the industry however they also have by far the highest margin requirement at $8,000 for trading Oil (CL). Many trading professionals use Interactive Brokers because you can trade stocks, bonds, futures, options, and trade them in the USA market, Chinese market, UK Market, German Market, and all around the world all from one trading platform, true professional power for the experienced professional trader.
